Daniel Pius discovers his DNA can't be cloned after an accident as a young adult left him with permanent damage along the side of his body. With no way to receive compensation through the clone program, Daniel has to fend for himself, but he never lets his disability stop him. He invents patented technology for specialized jobs and makes his own living. When a woman is killed on her way to deliver him a family heirloom, his life gets unexpectedly complicated. The dead woman, a notorious crime boss, and the assassin who killed her stole Daniel’s tech. To get it back, Daniel must venture into a world of clones, organized crime, and a drug underground to discover who is profiting from his technology and why a leader of organized crime would deliver him a clone relic.
